Here at Soar, we put our patient's needs first. Whether you are a weekend warrior, an elite athlete, or want to live a well-balanced and pain-free lifestyle, we want to help you achieve your full potential. We provide dynamic, hands-on, one-on-one treatment to each patient.
At Soar, we recognize the importance of a multidisciplinary approach to patient care, and work collaboratively with other healthcare providers from family doctors, to massage therapists and physiotherapists. We feel it is crucial to educate our patients about their conditions and empower them to actively participate in their care. We also provide massage therapy in addition to having a chiropractor.
Dr. Taylor Wilson provides chiropractic care that involves working on muscles, joints, ligaments, nerves, and more for everyone of all ages - including newborns. She treats a wide range of areas that include pre and postnatal care, pediatric care, chronic and acute injuries, and sports injuries. Everything she does is hands-on and unique to each patient she treats. She doesn’t believe in using the same techniques for everyone - because we are all so different and so are our bodies!
Check out the ‘what to expect’ page for more information on what a first visit would look like.

The popping sound is a small release of gas compressed between the joint. When the joints move enough there is a change of pressure inside causing the bubble of gas to be released. The sound is not bones cracking, nor is it 'putting joints back in place'
Chiropractic adjustments are widely recognized as a safe, non-invasive therapy for treating conditions of the joints, muscles, and nerves. Chiropractic adjustments are well-researched, and chiropractors are well-trained healthcare providers. Dr. Taylor will always clearly communicate before performing an adjustment and walk her patients through the treatment each step of the way. Chiropractic adjustments are optional in a treatment plan.
It depends. On your initial visit, your therapist will be able to give an accurate timeline following your assessment and based on your condition.
As a general guideline, for minor challenges and injuries, you will see significant improvement in 4-6 sessions (2-3 weeks). For major injuries, expect to see improvement in 10-12 sessions (4-8 weeks). For severe and long-term problems (such as post-surgical cases), expect significant results over months not weeks.
These are very general timelines, and every case is different. If you do not experience significant results, we will direct you to a health care provider who can!
It depends on the patient. You are by no means obligated to continue with chiropractic once you start. After a successful recovery, some patients decide to return for treatment only if pain arises again. Others decide on continuing care for their problems and benefit greatly from maintenance care.
This is especially true if you have an injury that repeatedly occurs, or you have a physically intense occupation or hobby.
Ongoing muscle and joint health can be compared to maintaining your fitness or going to the dentist for a check-up. For chiropractic, we usually recommend every 4-6 weeks to maintain muscle and joint health.
Your initial assessment and treatment takes approximately 45 minutes. Follow up visits vary in length depending on a variety of factors. They are normally either 20 or 30 minutes in length.
